We're Heidi and Kevin. We like wilderness backpacking and going on adventures that require good sunglasses to see the best of what the world has to offer.

We both wear prescription glasses. And for years we just dealt with bad options — either cheap sunglasses that made everything dim and muddy, or paying $400+ at an optical shop for something that actually looked clear. Neither felt right.

We kept thinking — people spend so much upgrading their cameras and phones, but not the thing they actually see through every day. Good lenses make a real difference outside, and it felt like nobody was making that easy or affordable.
